History

Nobody is entirely certain of the history of the Mount Pleasant Inn.  We do know that it's been in existence since before 1756, and throughout the building there are interesting photographs and pictures of the older Mount Pleasant.   It's been in the hands of the same family for over two decades - a family that takes great pride in offering quality, excellence and value for money.


The Mount Pleasant is a real favourite of locals and visitors alike. Whether you want a family meal out, just to enjoy friendly banter at the bar for a few pints, or to create an event to remember, the Mount Pleasant can oblige.
